Edward Lee “Babe Lee” Schulze, 73 died Wednesday, December 30,
2009 at his home, possibly from the flu.
Edward was born Sept. 22, 1936 in Pittsburg, KS.
He was preceded in death by his parents Morean (Hoskins) and Paul E.
Schulze, Sr.; brothers Paul E. Schulze Jr., Jimmy Ray Schulze and son
Jimmy Ray Schulze
Survivors include his brother Robert E. “Marty” Schulze of Louisiana;
children Karla Schulze of Pittsburg, Marita Schulze and Joe Schulze;
along with 4 known grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Inurnment will be 11:00am, Monday, January 4, 2010 at Ft. Scott National
Cemetery in Ft. Scott, KS with Chaplain James Stradley officiating. Family
and friends are requested to meet at Bath-Naylor Funeral Home, 522 S.
Broadway in Pittsburg at 10:00am, on Monday to go in procession to the
cemetery. Military honors will be given by the Ft. Scott V.F.W. Post #1165.
