Byrdie C. Ryan, 86 of Mulberry died at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday March 3,
2010 at her home in Mulberry.
She was born October 29, 1923 in Booneville , AR the daughter of
Marvin and Francis (Bird) Castleberry. She lived for over 30 years in
Wichita moving to Mulberry in 1970.
Byrdie married Kenneth Ryan on January 28, 1943 in Russellville , AR ;
he preceded her in death in 1992.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include 2 sons-Buddy Ryan and wife Micky of Mulberry, Kim
Ryan and wife Patty of Mulberry; 3 daughters-Mary Massions and
husband Dennis of Nevada, MO, Millie Darlene Ryan of Mulberry, Sheila
Sprankle and husband Tom of Wichita, KS; 15 Grandchildren and 14
Great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and
seven brothers and sisters.
According to her wishes Mrs. Ryan will be taken for cremation.
Graveside memorial services will be 1 p.m. Monday March 8, 2010 at the
Rosebank Cemetery in Mulberry; friends and family are requested to
meet at the shelter house at the cemetery. Condolences can be sent to
