Obituaries
Mary Charlene Reineri, 87 of Pittsburg, passed away at 6pm, Monday,
October 31, 2011 after a long illness. She had recently moved to Sunset
Manor.
Born October 13, 1924 in Pittsburg, she was the daughter of Charles
and Mary (Linthicum) Greenwood.
She and her husband Louis Reineri were married in Lamar, MO and
celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary last March here in Pittsburg.
Charlene worked as a bookkeeper and manager for several Doctors
offices and Insurance Agencies. After their retirement she and her
husband owned and operated three gift stores on Chincoteague Island,
VA.
A member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Pittsburg, she was
also a member of the Via Christi Auxiliary (Pink Ladies) for 15 years.
Additional survivors include a daughter Marne Bonomo of Chicago, IL; a
brother James Norwood of Pittsburg, eight grandchildren and nine great
grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son Michael Reineri.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 2 pm Thursday, November 3rd, 2011 at
Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Fr. Chad Arnold as Celebrant.
Burial will follow at the Highland Park Cemetery. Family will receive
friends at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home beginning at 12:30 pm
Thursday with the parish rosary being recited at 1pm and refreshments
will be served after the mass at the church activity center. Members of
the Via Christi Auxiliary are invited to attend the services.
