Obituaries
John Pinter, 92 of Pittsburg died at 7:53 a.m. Wednesday October 14,
2009 at the Mount Carmel Regional Medical Center in Pittsburg .
He was born March 31, 1917 in Cherokee, KS the son of Joseph and
Agnes (Jerko). He was a veteran of WWI serving his country in the
United State Navy from 1936 until 1945.
John married Josephine Karara in 1941, she survives at the home.
John worked for TWA as a mechanic retiring in 1978. He was a member
of the Benjamin Fuller American Legion Post #64 in Pittsburg .
Survivors include his wife Josephine of the home; two sisters Agnes
Loeffler of Leawood , KS , Frances Ketchie of The Woodlands, TX;
several nephews and a niece. He was preceded in death by his parents
and two brothers Frank and Joe Pinter.
According to his wishes Mr. Pinter has been taken for cremation and no
