Obituaries
Charles Pennington, 69 of Weir, Kansas passed away Sunday, January
15, 2012 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. He was born
February 22, 1942 in Weir, the son of Charly and Evangeline L
(Jacquinet) Pennington. Charles attended grade school at Coal Valley
and Weir High School. After graduating High School he joined the Navy.
He was a lifetime resident of Weir where he worked for the local 441
Pipe Fitters in Frontenac, Kansas. He was a member of the First Baptist
Church in Weir. Survivors include several cousins. He was preceded in
death by his parents.
Graveside Services will be 1:30 P.M. Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at
Hosey Hill Cemetery in Weir with Pastor Aaron Williams officiating.

memorials may be made out to the seniors center of Weir. Memorials
may be dropped off or mailed to Bath-Naylor Funeral Home, 104 West
