Obituaries
Nina M. Parker, 82 of Pittsburg, KS died at 10:21 pm, Monday, June 14,
2010 at the Via Christi Medical Center after a sudden illness.
She was born July 10, 1927 in Pittsburg the daughter of James Arthur
and Mabel Mae (Murray) Pryor.
On April 12, 1946 she was united in marriage to Charles E. Parker in
Girard, KS; he preceded her in death on July 14, 1996.
Nina was a cook and nurses aide at Shields and the Mills Nursing Home
for many years.
Survivors include 3 sons: Allen Parker and his wife Corrine of Mulberry,
KS, Billy Parker and wife Tammy of Mulberry, Ronnie Parker of Pittsburg;
a daughter Betty Jameson and her husband Dennis of Pittsburg;  10
grandchildren: Kimberly Heckert, Charles Parker, Mandy Stephenson,
Andrew Parker, Jill Parker, Tim Jameson, Joe Jameson, Jeremy Jameson,
Nicholas Parker, Wesley Parker; 24 great grandchildren: Levi Lehman,
Blaze Heckert, Shelby Lehman, Michael Heckert, Shyanne Lehman,
Austin Parker, Hunter Parker, Michael Parker, Blaine Stephenson,
Brandon Stephenson, Kimberly Engledow, Rhys Warstler, Xavier Snell-
Parker, Wes Jameson, Will Jameson, Taylor Jameson, Trevin Jameson,
Cole Jameson, Mason Jameson, Mason Feast, Austin Feast, Keyanna
Feast, Austin Parker and Katie Parker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 4 brothers: John
William, Chester “Lefty”, James Henry “Buss”, and Tom Marion Pryor; 4
sisters: Dolly M. Pryor, Lillie F. Pryor, Mary E. Horton and Bertha H.
Thomas.    
Funeral services will be 10 am, Friday, June 18, 2010 at the Bath-Naylor
Funeral Home with Rev. Daryl Gaddy officiating.  Burial will follow in the
Garden of Memories Cemetery.  Family will receive friends at the funeral
home from 7-8 pm Thursday.  Condolences may be left at www.
