Obituaries
        Ora Lee Phoebe Morey, 80, of Pittsburg died at 10:35 a.m.
Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at the Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg .

        She was born April 30, 1931 in Arcadia , KS, the daughter of
Richard B. and Anna Mae (Bennett) Foster.

        Ora Lee married Jerome A. Morey on July 3, 1956 in Chicopee ,
KS ; he preceded her in death on January 26, 2006.

        After graduating from Pittsburg High School she did secretarial
work for both the gas company and Holland Heat and Air.  She was
currently and has for the past 31 years worked for Rua Insurance
Agency.

        Ora Lee was a member of the former St. Barbara’s Catholic
Church in Chicopee and currently a member of Our Lady of Lourdes
Catholic Church.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading,
Pitt State football games, and most of all taking care of her insurance
and tax customers.

        Survivors include her son, Michael Morey, and wife, Jacky, of
Lawton, OK; her daughter, Cathy, and husband Kenny Waring, of
Pittsburg; two brothers, Richard Foster of Pittsburg, and Robert Foster;
three sisters, Helen Murphy of Girard, KS, Elizabeth Rader of Mitchell,
IN, Juanita Schneider of Washington; 5 grandchildren, Samantha
Hightower of New York, NY, Phoebe Waring of Pittsburg, Laura Morey
of Seneca, MO, Tony Morey of Bentonville, AR, Jessica Ray of
Louisburg; three step-grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren, Rhiannon
Ray and Raine Perrodin, and many step-great-grandchildren.  She was
preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 4 brothers Ed, John,
Bill and Fred Foster.

        Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, November 28, 2011 at
the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Pittsburg .  Burial will follow in the St.
Mary’s Cemetery in Pittsburg .  The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.
m. Sunday at the funeral home where friends may call after 3 p.m.
Sunday.  The family will be at the home of daughter and son-in-law
Cathy and Kenny Waring at 612 S. Olive, Pittsburg .  Condolences can
