Nick Moore 60, of Weir, KS died 4:45am Saturday November 5, 2011 at
Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg, KS following an illness.
Nick was born August 5, 1951 in Salina, KS the son of Kenneth and
Dorothy (Elliot) Moore. He graduated with his Bachelors Degree in
Computer Information Systems from Pittsburg State University. On May
1, 1999 Nick married Donna (Park) Moore in Weir, KS; she survives at
the home. Nick worked as a self-employed Electrician and Computer
Technician. In his free time Nick enjoyed fishing, birdwatching, was an
accomplished flint knapper and pinstriper. He also was a Certified
Journeyman Carpenter.
Survivors include his wife Donna Moore an associate of Langdon Lane
Animal Hospital,sister Nena Rua and husband David of Pittsburg, KS;
close cousin Joe Moore and wife Martha of Pittsburg, KS and numerous
other friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and nephew Tyler Rheums.
Funeral Services will be 7pm Friday November 11, 2011at the Bath
Naylor Funeral Home in Pittsburg, KS with David Loiselle officiating.
Burial will take place at a private date. In lieu of flowers the family ask
expressions of sympathy be in the form of memorials to Nick Moore
Memorial Fund. Friends may drop off or mail memorials to Bath-Naylor
Funeral Home 522 S. Broadway Pittsburg, KS 66762. E-mail

putting on a benefit and silent auction for Nick at Bootleggers Bar and
Grill Musicians for Miracles 212 W. McKay, Frontenac, KS 66763 on
