SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Stacie Jeanne Laughlin, 52 of Springfield, Missouri
passed away peacefully on December 5, 2009.
She was born in Pittsburg, Kansas on September 19, 1957, the daughter
of Otis William and Jacqueline Ray (Price) Laughlin.
She attended local schools and moved to Phoenix, Arizona with her
family in 1968. She graduated from high school in Phoenix and returned
to the mid west with her parents in 1986. She lived in Springfield,
Missouri and surrounding area the majority of her adult life.
In 1994 she was married to Greg Borden, they later divorced. Stacie
worked in the hospitality industry for over 30 years. She was a loyal and
hard working employee.
Church membership was held in the First Christian Church in Pittsburg,
KS. Stacie was especially fond of animals. She was a kind and caring
person and will be missed by her family and many friends.
She is survived by two brothers: Otis William Laughlin, III of Venice
Florida and Stephan Edward Laughlin of Springfield, Missouri, four
nieces and one nephew: Leigh Ann Laughlin of Ocoee, Florida, Sarah
Laughlin, Amanda Laughlin, Katherine Laughlin, and Joseph Laughlin of
Springfield, Missouri.
Stacie was preceded in death by her parents, step Mother Carole Jeanne
Laughlin, Grandparents, Roy and Florence Price and Otis and Florence
Laughlin.
No attendant services are planned at this time, inurnment will take place
at the Highland Park Cemetery at a later date. Condolences may be left
