Joyce T. Kennard, 75 of Pittsburg died at 12:20 a.m. Monday November
30, 2009 at her home in Pittsburg .
She was born March 30, 1934 in Newton , KS the daughter o Carl and
Bessie (Fadley) Ortmann
Joyce moved to Pittsburg 3 years ago from Sedgwick , KS . She
attended K-State University .
She married Ken K. Kennard, they later divorced.
Joyce was a bookkeeper most recently working for Intrust Bank.
Survivors include a son Carlton Kennard a daughter Kimberly Kennard
both of Pittsburg a brother Kenneth Ortmann of Quitman, TX; 4
Grandchildren Kamern Kennard, Kari Cronister, Kami Patrick and Kelli
Kennard and 4 Great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her
parents and a brother Galen Ortmann.
According to her wishes Joyce has been taken for cremation, private
family services will be at a later date. Condolences can be sent to
