Patricia A. “Patty” Kazmierski, 76 of Pittsburg died at 5:22 p.m.
Friday August 5, 2011 at the Via Christi Village in Pittsburg , KS .
She was born September 1, 1934 in Frontenac , KS the daughter of
Donald and Bessie (Robbins) McNeill. She lived in the
Frontenac/Pittsburg areas her entire life. She attended Frontenac
Catholic Elementary Schools and was a graduate of Frontenac High
School .
Patty married John E. Kazmierski DDSPA on August 4, 1956 in
Frontenac , KS ; he survives at the home.
She was a homemaker and worked as an office dental receptionist
for her husband retiring in 2004 after 44 years.
Patty was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, the
St. Mary’s Altar Society, and a member of the Crestwood Country Club.
Survivors include her husband John of the home; two sons John P.
Kazmierski and wife Gwen of Frontenac, Joseph D. Kazmierski of
Pittsburg ; a daughter Lynn R. Wuthnow DDSPA and husband Duane of
Salina; a brother Bill McNeill and wife Rosemary of Overland Park, KS;
two grandsons-Blake and Nicholas Wuthnow both of Salina; a brother-in-
law Robert Kazmierski and wife Patricia of Leawood, KS. She was
preceded in death by her parents and a sister Betty Simone.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 12:30 p.m. Tuesday August 9, 2011
at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Pittsburg with Father Adam
Keiter as celebrant. Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Cemetery. The
parish rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Monday at the Bath-Naylor Funeral
Home in Pittsburg where the family will receive friends following the
rosary until 8 p.m. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m.
