Obituaries
        Linda Sue (Foster) Johnson, 62 of Pittsburg died at 10:40 a.m.
Friday August 19, 2011 at the Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg .

        She was born January 8, 1949 in Pittsburg , KS the daughter of
Herman “Eddie” and Audrey (Brown) Foster.  She was a graduate of
Pittsburg High School .

        Linda married John Johnson on November 18, 1967 in Frontenac ,
KS .  He survives at the home.

        She was a housekeeper working the past 3 years for Via Christi
Hospital.

        Linda was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, and a former Tops
Regional Coordinator.

        Survivors include her husband John of the home; a son Dallas
Michael Johnson of Pittsburg ; a sister Mary Bouray of Mulvane; a
brother Larry Foster and wife Ginger of Pittsburg; nieces Tina Ruyle,
Rachal Harper, Elizabeth Foster, Kayla Foster, Misty Foster; a nephew
Matthew Foster; great-nieces and nephews Devin & Megan Ruyle, Kelci
Bouray, Mason & Emma Harper, Emmy and Jordan Foster.  She was
preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

        Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday August 23rd at the Bath-
Naylor Funeral Home in Pittsburg with Merle Lair officiating.  The family
will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time on Tuesday.  Following
the services Linda will be taken for cremation; inurnment of cremains will
be at a later date in the Beulah Cemetery .  Friends may call after noon
on Monday.  Any food contribution can be taken to the home of Brad
Jordan at 715 E. 7th St. in Pittsburg .  Condolences can be sent to www.

Association; memorials may be brought by or mailed to the Bath-Naylor
