William Jameson 45, of Cherokee, KS died 7:30am March 17, 2010 at his
home following a long illness.
William was born September 23, 19 64 in Columbus , KS to Harold O.
and Mary A. (Gideon) Jameson. He was a lifelong resident of the area
and a graduate of Southeast High School in 1983. Prior to becoming ill
he was a Machinist for Van Beceleares in Pittsburg , KS .
He was saved in the Baptist Church in Cherokee, KS; but was of the
Native American Faith. He loved fishing, camping and spending time with
his family and friends.
Survivors include his mother, son Jered O. Johnson of Cherokee, KS;
siblings Peggy Purdum and husband Sonny of Cherokee, KS, Ken
Jameson and wife Jackie of Tulsa, OK, and Karla Washington and
husband George of Pittsburg, KS.
He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents Ralph and Elnora
Shutt and Harvey and Alice Jameson.
Memorial Services will be 5pm Friday March 19, 2010 at the Bath-Naylor
Funeral Home in Pittsburg , KS with Dan Saporito conducting. Friends
may call funeral home after 12pm on Friday. In lieu of flowers the family
ask expressions of sympathy be in the form of memorials to the Patriot
Guard. Friends may drop off or mail memorials to Bath-Naylor Funeral
