Jerry N. Hill, 84 of Pittsburg died Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at the Via
Christi Hospital in Pittsburg.
He was born September 1, 1927 in Girard, KS the son of John and Ina
Hill.
On October 25, 1965 he was united in marriage to Dortha McClelland in
Miami, OK; she preceded him in death after 40 years of marriage in
March 2004.
He worked for Hofer Trucking as a mechanic; he also worked for
Pittsburg Reclaim.
Survivors include a sister Olive Short of Pittsburg, 3 daughters, 3sons
and several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great - great
grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Charles Farley Hill and
a sister Mary Jane (Hill) Collins.
Graveside services were 5 pm, Thursday, September 08, 2011 at the
Girard City Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Martin officiating. Services by
Bath-Naylor Funeral Home.
