Donna Ilene Hadlock 60, of Cherokee, KS died March 7, 2010 at Mt.
Carmel Regional Medical Center following a short illness.
Donna was born November 30, 19 49 in Harper, KS the daughter of Don
R. and Imohl I. (Craig) Hadlock.
She was a member of the St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Pittsburg , KS .
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a Past Worthy
Matron. She worked as a Police Officer, Pilot, EMT , and most recently a
Director at H & R Block as an income tax specialist.
Survivors include her parents, son Donnie Tate and wife Audrey of
Cherokee, KS; siblings David Hadlock of Lee Summit, MO and Noel
Rakestraw of Cherokee, KS; grandchildren Tobias Tate, Levi Tate and
Synthea Hermes. She is also survived by all her loving pets.
Memorial Services will be 7pm Friday March 12, 2010 at the Bath-Naylor
Funeral Home in Weir, KS with Fr. Wolf officiating. Burial will take place
at a later date in Hosey Hill Cemetery in Weir, KS. In lieu of flowers the
family ask expressions of sympathy be in the form of memorials to the St
Peter’s Episcopal Church Youth Program. Friends may drop off or mail
memorials to Bath-Naylor Funeral Home 104 W. Main St. Weir, KS
