ARCADIA — Lonnie Dimas, Jr. 69 of Arcadia, KS died Wednesday, April
21, 2010 at the Landmark Hospital in Joplin, MO following a short illness.
He was born April 4, 1941 in Rice, TX the son of Lonnie, Sr. and Maria A.
(Palos) Dimas.
Lonnie was raised around Rice and Corsicana, TX; he had been a
resident of Arcadia, KS for the past four years.
He was of the Baptist Faith; he also attended the Church of Jesus Christ
of Latter-Day Saints in Pittsburg.
Additional survivors include a sister Ramona Dimas Teeden of Tampa,
FL, a niece and caregiver Olga Bridgewater of Arcadia, 20 cousins,
numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and two brothers.
Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Saturday May 1, 2010, at the Church of
Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Pittsburg with Bishop Corin Wilde
officiating. Burial of cremains will be at a later date in Corsicana, Texas.

made to the Southeast Kansas Area Agency on Aging; these may be left
