Maryann A. Clark 91, of Chicopee , KS died 3:05pm Sunday February
28, 2010 at Mt. Carmel Regional Medical Center following a short illness.
Maryann was born March 10, 19 18 in Chicopee , KS the daughter of
John and Pasqua (Carli) Pesavento. She graduated from Chicopee
Grade School and later attended and graduated Pittsburg High School .
In 1938 she moved to Chicago , IL . She married Joseph C. Clark on
August 10, 19 46 in Chicago , IL ; he preceded her in death on June 7,
1981 . Maryann was a housewife. She was a member of the St. Barbara
Catholic Church in Chicopee , KS . Following the church closing she
joined the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Frontenac , KS . She
belonged to the Italian American Society, Widows and Widowers Group
at St. Mary’s in Pittsburg , KS and the Chicopee Community Center .
Survivors include children Rosemary Flynn of Crest Hill , IL and Joseph
C. Clark and wife Susan of Lockport , IL; grandchildren Stacey Gonzales,
Kelly Becerra, Joseph Clark and Daniel Clark; 4 great-grandchildren and
4 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers John,
Joseph, and Chris Pesavento.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10am Thursday March 4, 2010 at the
Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Frontenac , KS with Fr. Robert Spencer
as celebrant. Burial will follow at the Highland Park Cemetery in Pittsburg
, KS . Rosary will be recited at 7pm Wednesday at the Bath-Naylor
Funeral Home in Pittsburg , KS . Family will receive friends from 6-8pm.
Friends may call the Funeral Home after 2pm on Wednesday. In lieu of
flowers the family ask expressions of sympathy be in the form of
memorials to the Chicopee Community Center . Friends may drop off or
mail memorials to Bath Naylor Funeral Home 522 S. Broadway Pittsburg,
