Samuel “Sam” J. Burke, 54 of Pittsburg, KS passed away at his
apartment in Pittsburg.
He was born June 8, 1957 in Pittsburg to Wallace Willard and Betty
Jean (Kennedy) Burke. Samuel lived in Ohio for a short period of time
before moving to Florida where he worked for the state on the bridge
department. He later moved to Pittsburg in the early to mid 2000’s.
Samuel leaves behind his father, Wallace “Will” Burke; 1 sister, Reva
Meadows and Jim Bridwell (Jessica); 4 brothers, Mickey (Brent and
Kelsey), Danny and wife JoDee (Sheila and Shellie), Willie (Brad and
Brian) and Jay and wife Janet (Adam and Lauren) Burke. A brother in-
law, Cody Meadows. He was preceded in death by his mother.
Cremation has taken place. Condolences may be sent to www.
